DELTA is a company that has been in operation for over 90 years; it should be noted that we are talking about DELTA Machinery which specializes in power tools, not to be confused with Delta electronics which sells electronic items as the name suggests, or Delta Faucet which manufactures bathroom and kitchen accessories for the home.

DELTA Machinery was established by Herbert Tautz in 1919 and over the years DELTA Machinery has made a name for itself until now it is world-renowned for its excellent and reliable products. DELTA focuses on creating products to help woodworkers create masterpieces easily and with greater precision than was previously possible; as such the company manufactures a wide variety of woodworking tools to meet the needs of various persons.

DELTA has led the way in woodworking tools since its creation and has succeeded even in war and recession; today some of its earliest products are still in existence and are staple products of woodworkers everywhere. DELTA Machinery joined up with its sister company Porter-Cable and was bought by Black & Decker a few years after; making each individual brand even stronger than ever before.

DELTA makes a wide variety of abrasives, cordless tools, dovetail and joinery machines, drilling and boring machines, drills, drivers, saws, blades, jointers, bits, planers, trimmers, lathes, sanders and polishers, grinders and sharpeners, and much more; each of these categories contain many tool options such as table saws, scroll saws, band saws, radial arm saws, jointers, mortisers, planers, drilling machines, dust collectors, and grinders. DELTA also supplies a variety of accessories to work along with their various tools such as saw blades, templates, accessory kits, bits, and gauges.

There are a variety of companies online such as Amazon, eBay, and Toolbarn, and a variety of stores offline including The Home Depot that sell DELTA products and their replacement parts in the event that something goes wrong; if you cannot find the product or replacement part in a store nearby, you can contact DELTA directly and they can provide the items you need. You can also check out the extensive parts list on the DELTA website to find the part number or item number that you need; there are also downloadable versions of the user manuals for various power tools, as well as a product registration section that keeps track of the products you have registered and allows you to access information about your registered products whenever you wish.

The DELTA website has a lot of other useful features for DELTA owners besides their extensive parts list and product registration, including a library with tips and techniques for using your tools, and woodworking plans that DELTA owners can use for their own projects; the website also features an Owner’s Club section where DELTA owners can get network with each other. The Owner’s Club contains woodworker’s profiles, a shop of the month, a project of the month, special events such as woodworking shows, safety notices and recalls, and Owner’s Gear with the DELTA and Porter-Cable logos, with a special discount for DELTA members.
